This project is an exploration of the state of Maryland, portrayed through photography of its history, infrastructure, and nature. Maryland has an identity, and in this project, it's represented in its own way. There is a wide range of different qualities that can be found in Maryland's borders, such that anyone can find it interesting to see what lies in store, whether or not they are a resident of Maryland. The goal is to look beyond the surface-level beauty of Maryland found on tourism websites and pamphlets, and to delve into what makes it important.
